PROCEDURE DETAILS
People have moles and other skin lesions removed for all sorts of reasons. Some catch on clothing, itch or bleed during shaving.
Many are simply a little unsightly and people would rather not have them anymore. These can almost always be removed under local anaesthetic whilst you are awake. The most common ways of doing this are either by shaving them flat in line with the surrounding skin or by removing them completely and replacing them with a small scar. Some skin lesions are amenable to things like lasers or other skin treatments, those this tends to be more appropriate for some of the flatter skin lesions. All of this will be discussed and explained at your initial consultation.
