PROCEDURE DETAILS
Many women find this quite distressing and chose to have a small procedure to correct it.
Local anaesthetic injections are used to numb the skin completely so you are awake for the whole procedure. The tethering that causes nipple inversion is then released through an incision that leaves a small, well hidden scar at the base of the nipple.
THE DURATION
The whole thing takes about 15-20 minutes per side.
Afterwards you will have a simple, shower-proof dressing.
We will arrange a wound check one week after your procedure and follow up in the clinic after that at 6 weeks, 3 months and 6 months.
