PROCEDURE DETAILS
This can sometimes be performed under local anaesthetic with sedation, but often requires a general anaesthetic.
The procedure involves an incision that starts just under the groin crease at the front, extends along the top of the inside of the thigh and continues behind a little just under the buttock crease. The length of the scar varies from person to person depending on the amount to be removed.
