PROCEDURE DETAILS
Almost everyone develops redundant, loose, upper eyelid skin as their faces change naturally with age.
This can cause changes to the shadows around your eyes and result in extra folds and wrinkles. Some people develop so much laxity here that the additional skin fold rests on top of their eyelashes. In more severe cases this can cause irritation and result in excessive blinking (blepharospasm) or a reduced field of vision when looking upwards. Most people, however, just want to see more of their upper eyelid with their eyes open to look younger, fresher and brighter.
